Grievance Notice for FY2026/2027 Tax Year

Taxes – NEW – As voted at the 2026 Town Meeting the new tax payment dates will be September 10; December 10 and May 10. For FY2026/2027 property tax bills will be sent out in early August with the first payment due September 10, 2026; the second payment due December 10, 2026 and the final payment due May 10, 2027. Any questions, please call Treasurer at (802) 453-2410 x7.

ATTENTION: There is a scam affecting Development Review Board applicants. Applicants are being sent invoices from the Vermont Economic Development Authority and requests payment by ACH or wire transfer. Town of Bristol communications come only from official @bristolvt.org accounts. If you are unsure about an email please contact the Town.

NOTICE OF TAX SALE – July 14, 2026

Notice of Request for Farm Structure Alternative Setback – Location 845 Burpee Road. Secretary of the Agency of Agriculture to consider a 34′ setback alternative to Town’s 80-foot setback requirement.

TOWN OFFICES ARE OPEN
• The Town Offices are open to the public Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. The Town Office is CLOSED on Fridays.
• Please note that Appointments are still required to perform research in the Land Records during regular business hours. Appointments are also required to meet with the Town Administrator, Zoning Administrator and the Listers.
• Please stay at home if you are not feeling well and give us a call with questions. The drop box is still available if you want to drop off a payment or any other document.
